Your Guide to Local Support and Outdoor Connections in North Saanich

North Saanich is a community that looks out for one another. From emergency preparedness and food security to neighborhood support services, local resources are here to help residents feel safe, connected, and cared for. Whether it’s knowing where to go in a crisis, finding support at the food bank, or accessing municipal services, these organizations form the backbone of our community’s resilience.

This list comprises essential emergency services, including fire and RCMP, as well as crisis response and mental health support services. Urgent responses in the cases of observing a spill in the ocean or a waterway, an injured animal, or a water main break, for example, are here in one place. The District of North Saanich also provides other services such as its green waste composting facility, and air quality monitoring via the Purple Air network.

Please do not hesitate to contact us with other essential services you would like to see added to these lists.
