In the Winter 2025 issue, Jayson Biggs wrote about their volunteer animal transport organization, Big to the Rescue (link here to the amazing article). Jayson just sent us some new photos of three injured birds (two barred owls, and a Cooper’s hawk) that they rescued in February 2026.
Jayson says the 3 birds were nursed back to health and have been released back in the Sechelt/Gibsons area safely.
